I need advice about cheap hotels in NYC?

Hi.

I need someone to give me some info about good cheap hotels in NYC, I'll be going there in a couple of months for a short trip [4-5 days], but I want to save as much money as I can at the hotels. I know price ranges differ if it's high or low season, I'll be going in early November. Any suggestions? I can only afford up to $100 a night, if cheaper, then better. Thanks a lot ( :I need advice about cheap hotels in NYC?
Unfortunately November gets pretty expensive, especially if you're coming in near Thanksgiving. Don't despair though, there are options such as staying in less desirable areas (i.e. less touristy/convenient) or even hostels which are cheap, but not for everyone. I would suggest visiting the following website... they search all the big name sites such as hotels.com, priceline, etc. and show you the lowest price. It's fast and it's free to use....

You'll have a hard time finding a hotel under $100, but if you don't mind sharing a room with people you could always stay at a hostel for well under 100/night. You can even find private rooms in hostels for reasonable rates sometimes. I stayed in my fair share over the years, and if you're not going to spend much time at all in the room, they aren't so bad. Here's some decent ones http://www.jazzhostels.com/ and I'd just check reviews on yelp.com or something.
My friend, may I recommend the link below.

Good luck
100 a night is non existent. You either increase your budget or stay out by the airports
