I have a written test in a job interview, any clue what it could be about? advice and tips are also welcome!?

maybe about what experience you have related to the job? and why you are interested, which would also mean you're going to make an effort? Any reason in particular you prefer that company?

Maybe it's not that, but your not going to talk about music, pandas or FSM i guess...I have a written test in a job interview, any clue what it could be about? advice and tips are also welcome!?
I think it will probably be a test about your personality.

Be prepared to be asked unusual questions- employers have strange ways of making you open up to them. My friend once got asked ';What would happen if the world split in half?'; to show how quick thinking and imaginative she was. Similarly, another common question is to describe yourself in terms of an animal. If an employer pictures a specific animal as being you they gain an all round perspective of what you're good at with regard to how that animal lives/feeds or what particularities they have.

Consider yourself to be lucky- a written exam is perfect. It gives you more time and less pressure to express yourself as you want to appear to the employer.

More general advice I can give you is to simply be yourself. Do not boast or lie, you will NOT impress the employer, you will just indicate yourself as purely arrogant. Of course don't be negative, be cheerful and imaginative- try to present yourself as a candidate different from all others, somebody more interesting and with a sense of humour who is perfct for the job.I have a written test in a job interview, any clue what it could be about? advice and tips are also welcome!?
You might have to write about situations where you've 'shown responsibility', or 'shown initiative' that kind of stuff, just think carefully about the job you're aplying for because the questions will most definetly be based around it, e.g. security guard - what would you do in a certain scenario.
It will most likely be some sort of personality test to see how well you will fit in to the corporate culture. Answer honestly, and if it keeps you from getting the job, it probably wasn't the right job for you anyway.

Or it could be an intelligence test of some sort. I had one of those at an interview once.
It all depends what you are applying for. Make sure you know about the general job %26amp; your duties in relation to this.

I had to do this for a job in childcare, I had to know the abuse categories %26amp; talk about scenarios.

Good luck!xx
Written tests are used to determine if an applicant can write the King's English, complete with subjects, verbs and objects, spelled correctly, and legible.
I just did a basic entry test for LA County and it touched on Customer Service situations, basic math, grammer, office situations and basic organizational skills.
is it for a bank???

if it is its going to be all about math and what would you do questions....

and if its not for the bank then just ask yourself what would they want you to know to work there
I'm sure it's one of those tests Industrial Org Psychologists put together to see if you're a good worker. So questions like ';You see a coworker steeling office supplies. What do you do?';
