Are there any dance teachers here that can give me some advice about ballet?

well wat is the first thing i will do when i start my first ballet class, and wat can i do to prepareAre there any dance teachers here that can give me some advice about ballet?
most likely you'll stretch first, at my studio we do floor stretches first, then barre stretches, then we dance. Start stretching your legs everyday and you'll have a much easier time. Barre stretches are probably going to be the hardest. Find a dresser, a table, a chair, or a counter top that comes up to a littl e above your waist. Place your foot on it with your heel hanging off the edge. your ankle should be straight and not turned in. turn your foot on the ground out to the side a little. lean your body onto the leg that is up. then come up. bend at your hips down to the floor and back up (harder than it sounds) this should help you with barre stretches. As for the floor stretches, practice touching your toes, work on your splits. Just do your best. and HAVE FUN!!! (im a student no t a teacher)Are there any dance teachers here that can give me some advice about ballet?
you will stand at the barre and do plies. If your teacher is good, you'll be fine.
you will stretch and warm up about first 15 to 20 min. then if it's a basic class. they will show a move and you will likely do it in groups or across the floor in a line. im not a teacher, but took it for a couple years. they will go slow and explain everything to you. don't be afraid to ask questons.
Starting ballet lessons huh, well if i were you i would make sure i was pretty fit, try keeping your arms in fifth position for a long time. i don't know if you know the positions but i'll tell just in case you don't. Fifth position for your arms is both arms raised above your head, not too high, just so you can see your hands out of the top of your eyes while looking forward. Also don't forget to point those toes!

Have fun!!! :-)
Yup the most important thing to do before you start is to stretch. It doesnt matter whether you do floor or barre stretches first but one thing you must remember is after stretching (front, side or back) lift your leg up and then let go and try to hold your leg up there for at least 10 seconds. It may seem a little hard at first but after a while you'll get used to it.

And remember to turn out your legs no matter which position your in!

Have fun!
You will strech and then will do the basic maybe a couple of turns work on hands!!!!!!!!!
I guess if this is your first class, it would be level one.

You will learn all of the 5 positions and correct body placement, if you don't have the right placement, it will mess up your dancing. Before you do anything probably you will warm up about 10 minutes and stretch. Stretch on the floor, and slowly at your own pace and level. This is the level where you spend the most time on the barre, where it all starts. Spend about a half an hour there doing things like plies, tendus, and grande battemante. You also learn steps like jete and grande jete. You will learn many terms, even if you do not perform them, and are expected to remember these all through your dancing career.
Have a few cocktails: you'll feel relaxed and limber.
i don't teach , but I've been in dance for ever and you'll probably

strech and do some warm up exercises, them show you some stuff.

Epidural stories or advice about epidurals?

I am wondering about getting an epidural when I go into labor. I dnt want to because I dnt want to numb my legs completely, that has always been a fear of mine. I have only heard rumors of that being true though. Is it??? how does it actually feel to get an epidural, and does anyone have stories to share about their experience with it???

thanks!!Epidural stories or advice about epidurals?
its the best thing ever i just had a baby 10 days ago as soon as you get it the pain stops you do go numb from the waist down but it sure beats the pain. good luckEpidural stories or advice about epidurals?
I was planning on not getting an epi with my son but after the pain I decided to go ahead with it. To be honest I was in so much pain that once they gave me the epi I did'nt even try to see if I could feel my legs I just felt so much more relaxed. I was able to take a nap and woke up 2 hrs later and I has dilated 7cm up to 10 and it was time to push. Getting the epi itself hurt alittle. You cannot feel the needle at all but you feel a burn when the medicine goes in. It only lasts a short time though and after that I was able to enjoy everything a lot more!
this is weird my nickname is bubbles and im the same anyhow lol i had epilepsy as a child i grew out of it and the star of a fit felt like my legs going numb so i was terrified and was determined not to get the epidural but i was in sooo much pain i was screaming 4 it lol it just feels like ur legs are really heavy u can move them but they are numb to the touch its not like pins and needles r anything its ok trust me . as for putting it in the give u a lanesthetictetic first that stings a bit nothing major after that its great . just make sure u time it right my wore off an hour b4 i started pushing but up to then it was great gud look
I am a huge fan of the epidural!! I know it's a personal choice, but for me it made the whole process almost enjoyable ie; no pain, lol.I had the same fears as you but after 9 hours on pitocin and a stalled labor, i was exhausted and in a lot of pain. The epidural made me relax and that helped greatly with my labor and delivery....p.s. my legs didn't go numb, I just had no more pain.Whatever you decide... good luck the payoff is priceless!

Marriage advice on this site about swinging?

I have been reading through several of the marriage questions and there are lots of comments about swinging and sugggesting it. Do couples really swing? And doesn't it hurt your marriage? I think it sounds great as a fantasy, and my wife and I have been married 10 years, but I don't know if we could ever go through with it. Is it really benefical for those couples who agree to do it? Marriage advice on this site about swinging?
I tried it with my ex husband and it was the dumbest thing we did, it helped end our marriage. Course he is an extremely jealous person and it was stupidity on my part to agree to do it, but I wanted to please him (and I was a bit curious) we agreed to only the women having sex together and not swapping men, however he couldn't handle another man seeing me in my birthday suit and commenting on my body! Just be careful!Marriage advice on this site about swinging?
It depends greatly on the couple. The couple who swings must be very secure and committed and have very strong and open communication. If there are things you don't feel you can talk about with your partner then swinging is probably not for you until you resolve that. If there are issues in your relationship, swinging WILL NOT fix those issues and it will most likely make them worse.

Yes, millions of couples do swing and they do so without damaging their relationships. It should not be looked at as something beneficial but you should examine whether or not you feel that it could damage your relationship. Most often the greatest damage is done when one partner gets the idea stuck in their head and won't let it go. Swinging has to be something that both partners want and can talk openly about before they ever really take a step towards doing it.

I tried it. My ex-husband was a sex addict and swinging or otherwise including sex partners was just a way of justifying his behavior. We had a few positive experiences but in the end it contributed to the destruction of our marriage. I'm sorry but I believe if you enter that into your love life it will bring drama and open the door for lying, cheating and betrayal.

I don't know anyone who has been successful at swinging without breaking up their relationship.
Some people do it. Some get a lot out of it. Some can even build healthier relationships from it. But many people are hurt by it. Swinging is something that is probably only for a certain type of person. If you;re unsure about it, it's probably not for you. Last thing you want is to try it and one person love it while the other one hates it. That is a problem you do not want in your marriage.
I have a girlfriend that has been a swinger for over 15 years, she's an admited sexaholic and the situations she's been in are truly scary. Swinging isn't for me, and I would be very careful, but there are alot of people you would be surprised to learn that do it. My gf is a doctor and has multiple degrees, she just loves the action, my husband and I curl our toes at her stories.
Some couples benefit from it, but most are hurt by it.
i wish we could both swing but then the weight would break the swing so nope... we don't try knowing the consequences will not end well

The Crucible, help! the answer is in act 3 somewhere, but i cannot find it.40. What is Reverend Hale鈥檚 advice to John Proctor as he is about to read his disposition before the court?
Not a 100% sure, but I think it is to return with a lawyer to present his claim.

I need some advice about a girl?

Ok so me and this girl have like eachother almost all summer but we were talking about dating the other day and she said she wants us to take our time and she doesnt want to date anyone right now. Should i just wait until she is ready or move on to someone else. Or if u have any other ideas let me know.I need some advice about a girl?
do what feels riteI need some advice about a girl?
If you really like her and think that you could have a great relationship, give it some time. During that time, get closer to her and give her reasons to want to date you. Wait it out for a month or so, and then see how she feels. If she still says she isn't ready, it might be time for you to move on because it may mean she isn't serious about a relationship, or is too emotionally unstable to be in one.
Well, if you really like her, isn't she worth the wait? If you really like her and want to take things further, you'll have to be patient. Be her friend (don't bombard her with flowers and gifts, and follow her around everywhere) just let her know you like spending time with her.

However, just make sure she's seriously not interested in dating anyone now, to make sure she's not playing you or trying to let you down easily, try to find out if she does really like you before you try to get closer to her.

If you don't feel like waiting around for her, chances are, you don't like her as much as you thought, which is not a bad thing, so there's no harm in moving on. Just make sure, that if you don't want to wait, you tell her out straight you don't want to be with her in the future. She'll probably appreciate you being honest with her, instead of finding out in a few weeks that you're with someone else when you hadn't told her you weren't going to wait for her.

Even if you don't gain a romance, you may gain a friend out of it, seeing as you both like each other.

    Best of luck! x
Act like a chef! Put her on the back burner and let her simmer. When Meanwhile start cooking up something else. When she needs your attention stir her around a bit and try the flavor. You'll know if its coming out right. If not...dump it in the sink.

Now look...you made me hungry. Thanks!

No really. do what makes you happiest and never what you think is a waste of time
depends on how much you like her.

if you really like her then keep asking, dont go to over the top so she gets annoyed, but let her no that you are intrested in her.

although it may be her way of giving you the brush off :S so maybe just ask her to go somewhere as mates first and just drop hints about you liking her.

I hope it works out :) goodluck

    x
It depends. If you feel strongly, wait. I know that if a boy waited for me to be ready, I'd love him even more. If you feel that she's not worth it, then don't. I know it's hard cause you probably really like her, but at the same time you wanna try new ppl and you wanna save ur dignity and pride. Whatever you do will be right.
I would just ask her why she doesn't want to date anyone right now. Is that her way of saying she doesn't want to date you or does she really not want to date anyone right now? If she says she doesn't want to date you, I'd move on and find someone else.
The choice is up to you. But if you really really like her (enough to marry) then I say you better wait. Don't pass up the ';might be right girl'; because of a little waiting. Be a man and show girls and guys that all guys aren't obsessed with girls.
move on to someone else...FOR NOW . i can tell you , girls are always chasing after guys with girlfriends . if she said no , it's her loss . her fault . over . done . ((: whenever she's ready , (that'll happen soon) ask her out (: good luck .
Well, you can wait till she's ready or just move on, thats your own decision that we can't do for you

    Good luck though :]

    Answer mine?

Depends. If you think she's worth it then wait. You can take that time to develop a deep friendship before starting to date.
well if you really like her then you can wait until shes ready but you also cant wait forever
If you really love her than she would be worth the wait, but let me ask you a Q....Would you wanna marry her? That's the whole point of dating right?

    Hope I helped!
Maybe you should keep her around as a friend, but also see other people as well.
It all depends on how much you like her and how soon she'll want to start dating.
move on but don't tell her u moving on
Don't waste your time waiting for her. You have all this energy to live with! Like they say ';There are many fish in the sea'; :)
Move on, chances are you'll both find someone else.
    ';...she said she wants us to take our time and she doesnt want to date anyone right now';

    Move on. She's not interested.
MOVE ON you don't have all your life to wast on time wasters.
Aww! Okay, I'm a girl and I think you should wait! Its really superficcial to move on like that %26gt;:(
yup just move on! theres better girls out there
    yes wait
Maybe she's just not that into you?

Move on and don't waste time.
if you're willing to wait do so ,if not look for someone who shares your interest

Hamburger, brown? Need advice about the freshness.?

I took out a pound of hamburger to thaw out yesterday and now it looks all brown and so does the blood. Do you think that it is okay to eat?Hamburger, brown? Need advice about the freshness.?
meat starts to turn brown when it comes into contact with open air and oxygen. i know most people don't believe it and throw away a completely good meat. here's a better explanation:

http://ask.metafilter.com/21292/Why-does鈥?/a>Hamburger, brown? Need advice about the freshness.?
Yes, as long as it still smells good, it's fine!
If it smells bad, throw it out. If it does not smell bad and the inside of the beef is red, I would suggest frying it up right away!!!
Smell it. If it smells sour then throw it out.
I am a total freak about not getting food poisoning and stuff, if it looks bad, smells bad, it prob tastes bad, I wouldnt eat it....
All meat will turn brown after freezing --- just smell it to make sure.
If you have to ask, I'd probably just toss it. Better safe than sorry. It's just hamburger. Buy a new pack.
i'm not sure, i do know that hot dogs are dyed pink. Or else they would be brown and no one would buy them. So they're apparently edible once dyed, so i'd imagine you can still eat this beef although it's seen better days. If it's thawed out i'd smell it, doesn't smell rotten you're ok.
as long as it was frozen before the use before date and you've had no problems with the freezer...it should be completely fine. That usually happens when I freeze meat in the container it comes and I still use and haven't gotten sick from it. So I think it'll be ok!
    i would toss it
The problem is that it was frozen too long, and probably not wrapped properly. It's ';freezer Burn';. The meat will not make you ill, but the flavor won't be as good as it should be, and it will be quite dry. I'd throw it out and buy a new pkg.
If it doesnt smell its fine.
when meat turns brown it is because it has had much exposure to air. it doesnt hav to do with wether it is ok to eat or not. you should smell it. if it smells fine then it is probably ok to eat. but you should also use self judgement and common sense about it. dont eat it if u think it is possibly not ok to eat.
Noooo.... The best meat is always red. The redder, the fresher. That's why when you go to the supermarket, you should always look for the ground meat that is red. Brown means it's old.

    Hope this helped! : )

  • Do u actually take the advice given on here about ur kids or ur health?

I was just wondering do u take the advice given to u about ur kids or us healthDo u actually take the advice given on here about ur kids or ur health?
I don't think I would take it as gospel or as my only resource for information - however, when it is clear that the advice is sound and sane and it makes sense, I think I would be foolish not to take from it what good that I could get from it. Sometimes I'm convinced that people are not really asking a question when they come to this forum for answers - I think they are looking for a consensus, or for validation about things they already have some pretty strong ideas about. It's comforting to have others to 'talk' to sometimes - and the fact that this is anonymous is another positive feature--since the people don't know us personally, they don't get caught up in our personal drama with our friends and relatives -- they can be more objective and fair. I know I've even been able to tell people nicely that they are the problem - and have actually gotten some Best Answers because I said something that the asker hadn't thought of -- So, I guess the answer is yes, but within reason and with due caution...Do u actually take the advice given on here about ur kids or ur health?
That depends on the advice. In the end, I would always listen to my doctor. But sometimes you don't have time at a doctor's appointment for every little question (this is my first pregnancy, and I have a million questions. Most are quite minor in nature.)

As far as parenting advice, yes, I take the advice. I don't have a mom or mom in law or friend who's had a baby recently I can ask about this stuff. I use common sense, I read a lot, and in the end I make the decision. But I find a lot of advice on here very helpful.

It does scare me though when people tell somebody not to take a medication that was prescribed my a physician for a reason, and they seem to listen- or when they use YA as a substitute for a doctor's advice, or when they bypass the doctor altogether.
Reading someone's answer may give me another question to ask my doctor or different talking points with her, but I would never not see a doctor because someone on Y/A says it's not a big deal.

With help/advice about kids, it depends on the person. I respect some people on here more than others and would take what they said to heart.
Depends on how its done I guess. I research it to get my own view on the subject, then I make the decision that best fits us. If it is someone just flat out telling me to do this and this, then no. If they offer up their opinion on something or bring it up that they do it with their child etc then I will look more into it.
Not really. I just find it interesting to hear other ideas.

Why would someone thumb my answer down? I don't listen to the advice I just like to hear what other people think. You can never trust what you read on the internet unless it comes from a reliable source. That's just my opinion.
    NOT EVEN A LITTLE.

I rarely ask those types of questions here...but on the occasion that I have...it's usually just to see if I'm being paranoid...because I tend to be a little over protective

I hardly trust the doctors...why on earth would I ever trust a perfect stranger that I know nothing about?

I may take their links and use it in my own research...but take advice for face value and apply it ....to my child of all things????

    That's a big ';HELL NO';...lol
Usually, I'm looking to see if anyone has or has had the same situatuon that I have! I like to hear what they do or did to resolve it! My Dr. is the only advice that I'll follow for mine and my baby to be's health!
I think most people ask opinions on here. No one is a Doctor so if I am looking for other experiences then I read them and listen to what they had to say. I would never have someone diagnose me on here who is clearly not a Doctor.
if its good advice. the kind that makes me go ';oh, why didnt i think of that';. then yes i take it.

but theres a lot of answers i get that i would never dream of listening to.
Yes, if it makes sense and sounds rational. People on here have usualy been thru what you ask and are Very helpful. I have learned a lot from the answers.
Sometimes it just gives me something else to consider/research and bring up with the doctor.

It's nice to hear about experiences and possibilities.
If the advice is good advice when it comes to kids and I hope some people take my advice when it comes to kids. For health...no one should take any advice on here except for (go to a doctor)
Generally speaking I always have at least one answer that I feel is reasonable and sound advice. There are also answers that sound like there's straight out of a book... or the mind of someone a bit deranged!
I don't ask questions about my health on here, I go to a doctor. However if I see a good suggestion on a non-life altering matter I will consider it
I would never ask a question about my childs health on here. If I have questions about my kids health I go straight to a reliable source and research things myself.
    .no.
if it's any good then yes I do.
yes u do. and 9 times out of ten they are right
My brother is a Pediatrician...So no.. But I do call him on occasion to give advice..I like to play doctor.LOL

What advice would you give a new business owner about strategic planning?

Focus on cash flow. Get money coming into your company. It is more important than anything. Get paid for what you do, FAST.

Try not to have a few large clients. Get many small clients. You will learn quickly from them and they will not jerk you around. They will pay you faster, too.

Try to grow along with your needs for business. If you increase your operations too soon, you will lose money. If you do it too late, you will lose customers.

    Good luck. Dont give up.

Firstly the boys would go like WOW!!! n their eyes will quickly turn red. Jealous of ur success n owning an expensive car. Saying to themselves we have a GOLDMINE in our school. You will be robbed or kidnapped in less than a week knowing that u are damn wealthy. Or very likely your car will get stolen.

You will attract all kind fo girls. U name it: The Geek, Freaky, Popular, Suicidal girls n etc... Forget about the girls in school. When u drive that kind of car on the road, its already a head turner n if u are cool the girls will chase after u. I believed u just an attention seeker..

Here is my 2 cents worth. If u are rich or famous dun show it. Its wise to be humble n down to earth. If u really have to flaunt it n damn famous be prepared to spent ten of thousands for ur own personal bodyguards. If u r so damn rich why dun go for homeschooling. All celebrities n rich children did that.

If u came to my school, before the first week is over, I will get myself n 3 of my friends wearing a ski mask n get whatever cash on you. Then take your car for a ride before selling it in the black market. Haha!!!

At this point there is nothing you can do but take her to the doctor, an OB-GYNE. Even though she's says she's a virgin she may not actual be, and could be pregnant, that or she has another problem, which could be nothing, and some BC pills can help or it could be more serious. Cute and flip flops do not equate. All flip flops are made of rubber/plastic so where is the quality in that? Whoever made these items should be outlawed they are the ugliest footwear in the world.
Try American Eagle. My BF is 25 and has several pairs from there. They seem to be good quality because he has worn them for a few years. Pick a neutral color or a leather, and try to keep it simple.

I need an advice about this girl in my high school?

I had a girlfriend before, but Today I met this extremely beautiful track star in my school, I introduced myself and complemented her pretty necklace and she was smiling, so what can i do when I see her again?

I need an advice about this girl in my high school?
You're a very smart boy, for complimenting her! Girls LOVE that! When you see her again, smile and compliment something else (like how good she is at track or something) Trust me, she'll be thinking about you after that ;-) good luck!I need an advice about this girl in my high school?
    haha cute question bud,

well i mean now you know she is pretty. so now start talking to her, see if she is acutally nice and pretty (bonus! lol) i mean, talk with her, maybe add her to facebook or msn eventually thats a good way to talk to someone i think. but i always love when im walking down the hall and a guy i like gives me the nod sort of like nods his head to say whats up and then follows that up with a hey, hows it going, and then stops to chat for a minute. i guarantee that will work! lol. your a guy, im sure you are nevous too, but i dont know, like it shouldnt be the girls job to make conversation all the time lol. honestly, just say heey hows it going, of hey how are you, or even smile and she will love that;]

ps. you sound nice, i liked that you complimented her - i love when guys do that and i like the fact you called her beautfiul, not hot or something!

    goodlcuk, i mean that!

ps. please answer my latest question;] thank you so much
Try and see her in the hall. If you are in one of her classes just ask her something stupid to start a conversation, such as

    ';hey what was the homework? or etc etc';

Try and get her Facebook or MySpace something where you can talk to her.

Also if you run into her the hallway or something get her number so you can talk more.

Usually girls know if you want to date them. So good luck!
ok first dont be chessy!!!!!!!!! do tell her jokes that u know are not funny!!!!!!!!!!!!!! girls like compliments so u can give her a lot of them. just try and get to know her before asking her out or something. dont get over worked about little things like seeing her again!!!! just be yourself i am sure she will like u for u and not someone u try to be.
Find out information about field and track find out what she is into, strike out a conversation about it then she will find herself spewing information to you and you will then have common grounds to talk to her everytime you see her.
Yeah, talking to her would be nice. Ask her name and try to let her know youre interested in getting to know her.

You're a brave guy, most guys would hide between their legs at the sight of an attractive person. No GUTTS No GLORY! Right?
the simple answer talk to her! haha ..

get to know her better, try and focus on things you might have in common.

pleeeeeease answer my question i need advice.

    http://ca.answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Ah6cgSmpL8MTU3.jxuUilrXAFQx.;_ylv=3?qid=20081022175028AAQbJzw
i think you should better know her first , you cannot decide just by lookig at someone , whenever you see her again , just start freindship with her and know her first .
something complimenting just be your self and talk she'll get to know u

and you'll start to feel comfortable enough around her that talking to her will be easy
    Be composed, cool, funny and let it flow. Chicks dig confidence, so before you talk to her remember to tell yourself, ';I'm the man';
Just get to know her a little bit more...Girls that are involved in things dont really like guys that move in too quick so just get to know her and be friends and flirt a little and then ask her out...
be cool try to be really nice but take it slow

and ask her if she has a boyfriend

    kinda of flirt with her

    and be laid back
    talk to her more,

    ask her to hangout,

    ask for her number?
How about talk to her and get to know her
get to no her and compliment her again mayb sit with her at lunch
    ask her for her number.
ask her what are her interests. what she wants do to out of highschool. things like that
let it flow naturally.. trying too hard is very cheesy..
    be friendly
Uh, try talking to her some more?

    go for it
i think you should get to know her first.

Can anyone give advice about getting a motorized scooter /moped !!!!?

I'm giving up my SUV and am going to get a scooter !

I don't know what kind to get !

    1) only $ 2100.00 to spend

    2) must be strong enough to go up some hills

    and I'm 200lbs !

    3) I've never ridden one before

    4) I think I should get one from a major

manufactorer, so parts can be gotten easily

    5) What's the difference /advantage of a 2- stroke or 4-stroke or automatic ?

    6) Other than a Vespa ( which I can't afford )

what else is known to be reliable ?

Please help ! Thank you !Can anyone give advice about getting a motorized scooter /moped !!!!?
Approximate top speeds on level ground:

    150cc 4-stroke . . 55 mph

    250cc 4-stroke . . 75 mph

Check your regional craigslist %26gt; for sale %26gt; motorcycles for used scooter values . . Honda, Yamaha, Kymco.

If you can twist a wrench, a China ';crate'; scooter might be an option.

first off if your giving up an suv you should have enough money to buy a nice scooter. 200.00 wont buy you anything big enough to haul your big *** around. so your SOL
Yamaha and Honda (name brands) makes great Scooters. However, don't throw off the other Scooters. Most dealers have to order most parts anyway. I sell Chinese Brand Scooters and I have to order parts for those as well as the name brands. I actually prefer to work on the 4 stroke Scooters. The 4 Stroke Carburetor works a bit differently than that of a 2 Stroke Carb. However, it is a matter of preference. There are a few Manual Throttle Scooters out there like the ';Stella';. Again, just like an Automatic versus a Manual Car, most people just prefer the Automatic versus a Clutch system. A matter of Preference. I am over 200 pounds, and I prefer a 125 to a 150cc Scooter. Beyond that, I would be looking for a Light Weight Motorcyle. Most states require a Motorcycle License for Scooters beyond a 49cc. If you have a Drivers License, it does not require much to acheive your Motorcycle License.
First off, wise choice, gas mileage can be over 100mpg on a moped. There's only one answer for you on that budget, a Targa LX. It's a full fairing moped, available with or without pedals if you buy directly from the manufacturer. There is a 70cc bolt on upgrade kit for considerable power, you can also get a biturbo for $100-$200 on top of the $1500 list price. Very reliable and dependable. Two stroke 49cc with oil injection, so you don't have to mix it yourself.
Name brands are the way to go..made in China is a no parts issue. NO DIAMO. If youve never ridden an automatic is an easy learn. 150cc (no 49cc)

I have both a 2 stroke Stella now a 200cc and a Vespa GTS250. Check my scooterpage on

Any advice for someone thinking about starting nursing school?

Make sure it's what you really want to do.Maybe talk to a nurse, and see if you can hang out with her/him for the day to see if it's what you really want.I know two people who quit halfway through ,because they changed their minds.Good luck.Any advice for someone thinking about starting nursing school?
Do everything by the book, but allow yourself to be creative, in class and in clinicals.

Get those drip equations so down pat, you could solve one in your sleep!

Be ultra friendly with your classmates...your teachers will notice all of that.

Making a mock hospital bed can flunk you from the whole course....so get that DOWN perfect.

Got to school early and practice on things you're not sure about...needle insertion, nose tube placement, ostomy cleaning, etc.

And, never loan out one of your nursing books! Watch them like a hawk.

Bring extra pencils and ink pens, and a sharpener!

Good luck, hon! Oh, and never let another student's 'A' intimidate you!Any advice for someone thinking about starting nursing school?
I say go for it! I have too weak of a stomach for nursing... That's why I'm physical therapy...

Knowing you, I think you would make a great nurse. It's hard work, and can seem very unrewarding but if you have that dedication then you can do it... Not to mention the pay is phenomenal...

Texas has some awesome nursing schools... Especially where I am at..

    LOL...
be ready to devote a lot of time to studying medical terms and having weekly tests on them.

also be prepared for a lot of math/chemistry classes.
Get some experience within the caring role before you apply to university, maybe as a carer in a nursing home, nurses assistant in a hospital, or even voluntary work.

It will give you a taste of whats to come and will be looked on favorably by the admissions board, if you decide nursing is for you.

The drop out rate is pretty high on nursing programs in general, some universities here in the UK report it to be as high as 50% or more.

This is mostly due to financial problems, but some students don't really know what nursing is all about before they apply and how demanding the course really is.

It also helps to be some what financially stable, especially if you have kids, and having a very supportive partner/social network is priceless.

    Good luck.
You will probably have the hots for a doctor, but many nurses do that too as they like the way they operate, you know, a cut above the rest.

    Just kidneying you. If I kept on, these puns would get bladder and bladder until you finally told me, ';Urine trouble Mister!';

    Hope I helped
Talk to someone who knows the whole deal...
Get a strong stomach, yours of course.
My daughter is in nursing school right now. My advice is if your not in a relationship, now is not the time to start one. If you have children, make sure you have a support system. If you are in a long term relationship, make sure he supports your decision and realizes that school will take up tons of your time.

Oh yea, if your not good at math, good luck!
    Wear sensible shoes.
    Kumara!! Are you going into nursing?? That's awesome. You would make an amazing nurse, you are kind, caring and compassionate. You also have a sense of humour which is needed. I had some nurses that made Macbeth look good. You need to have warm hands and a warm stethoscope so that people don't jump out of their skin. Just be the Kumara that we have grown to love and you will be a success. I am so happy for you!! You go girl!! {{{hugs}}}
Well, do it! That is what I did. Currently in nursing classes and good for you!
Learn to keep your hands warm at all times

i cant tell you how annoying a nurse with cold hands can be

  • Help? I need advice about going to a shabat?

This girl who I met about a week ago at my local gym and became acquainted with invited me to a Shabat with her family next week. She is going to cook the whole dinner, and wants my whole family to come. I don't know how to tell her no, I don't want to offend her or get her mad. Can someone tell me what they are like and what I should expect? I don't know anything about Jewish customs or religion. thanks.Help? I need advice about going to a shabat?
No don't make any food, if they are orthodox enough to have a Shabbas dinner they can't eat non-kosher food. Yes google it. But don't worry they won't sacrifice a gentile child. It will be warm and a little fun and there will be wine and chicken soup.Help? I need advice about going to a shabat?

I am getting a Shih tzu maltese but i have a cat. does anyone have advice about how to introduce them?

i have a loving cat. but she can be VERY protective.

my old dog was attacked by her!

i really want this dog, and shes the only thing in my way!

but i love her!!!I am getting a Shih tzu maltese but i have a cat. does anyone have advice about how to introduce them?
try putting the dog in a carrier or small cage %26amp; set her in the middle of a room that the cat is in...let the cat come to her %26amp; decide wat she thinks of her...then once the cat is used to the dog take the dog out but hang on to her and let the cat come over %26amp; see what she thinks...then once shes used to the dog this way let the dog loose but if the dog chases the cat then get her back or the cat might scratch her

good luck! =]]I am getting a Shih tzu maltese but i have a cat. does anyone have advice about how to introduce them?
So you really want to complicate your life? WHY do you want the dog? If you can avoid interfering in the process, just throw them together and see what happens. The dog will learn to fend for herself, and the cat will get used to the intruder. The cat sounds like she's established herself as the grand dame and no-one is going to get any of you, so be ready for an interesting time of it..
I have a cat that adopted me in 2003 (The cat owns me I don't own her). I have 2 Maltese shih tzu. One is the mum that I got in 2005 as a 8 week pup, the other is her baby who was born on July 12 this year.

The cat sleeps on my bed but the dogs are Never allowed on my bed. Let the cat have some dog free zones. If the dog is very young the cat probably wont worry too much.

The cat is the princess of the house, the dogs chase her from a respectable distance.
try taking them both outside your home to introduce the dog.

Since the cat has been there longer, she probably feels as if the house is hers and anything coming into it is trespassing into her territory so she will attack because she is scared they will try to take over.

outside the home, the cat will feel less intimidated because that doesn't belong to her so anything she meets out there can't possibly attack her position or take her things.

    Good Luck!
Don't be such a sook animals will alway fight for dominance. throw the dog in and let them sort it out a few scratches from the cat and most dogs will get the message.. As to a shitzu(sic), intelligence is not a strong point for these dogs it may take some time !!
Sweet! You'll wanna make sure that your cat has seniority. Feed her first like by a couple minutes, keep the dog away from any special spots your cat has so she doesn't feel the need to be protective. If you want to play with your dog make sure that you don't ignore your cat. At first you'll wanna be very cautious and make it known to your new dog that he/she is the ';new dog on the block'; as it were and that your cat is in charge. Gradually you can feed them closer and closer together, let them sleep near each other and soon they will like each other or at least learn to tolerate them! Have fun!

Am taking a trip to Alaska soon. Anyone have good advice about what to see, do, etc?

I would avoid Anchorage. . .that's like vacation in CA and going to LA!

The Kenai Peninsula is really nice and tourist friendly. My favorite town is Homer because it has all the fun little shops and a rustic Alaska feel to it! Seward is nice and has a great old army underground barracks you can hike to that is great, Kenai %26amp; Soldotna are good but more for the fishing aspect, Whittier is another small town that has cool shops and hiking around, Fairbanks is a bigger town that doesn't ever give me that Alaskan feeling to it, Denali Nat'l Park is awesome if you get a helicopter ride around the mts. . .if not just skip it.

Calling the Alaska visitors bureau would be great once you find out what area of Alaska you will be in. . .remember that Alaska is a HUGE state (over twice the size of TX!), so driving from city to city may take you a lot longer than you are used to!

Have fun!Am taking a trip to Alaska soon. Anyone have good advice about what to see, do, etc?
it depends on what part of alaska you are planning on visiting. going through denali national park is interesting if you want to see mt. denali (McKinley) or just see wildlife. anchorage is the largest city. Advice on what to do about backpain in pregnancy?

I woke up this morning, and had some excruciating back pain, and I think mostly it's due to the way I slept. I mean lower back pain, but it's not like making me double over or anything. Any advice on how to help me get it to go away? I did take two of my tylenol this morning, and it seems to be slightly helping, but any other advice?Advice on what to do about backpain in pregnancy?
I had that too, I think its some sort of stretching thing especially if you sleep on your side. For a week or two I was worried it was my kidney, because it was just on one side. Then I realized it switched to the other side so that couldn't be it. It was really bad and tylenol only helped for a little while. What I did was lay down and use a heating pad. At first I used it all the time, but then my doctor told me to use it 20 minutes then take it off for 20. I think it's so your back won't feel terrible without it. After that I noticed a huge improvement, it was my best friend :]

Also, lay with a pillow under you so you're slightly sitting up.Advice on what to do about backpain in pregnancy?
    Take a warm bath

    apply a heat pack

    ask hubby for a massage

lay down if your little miss will allow it :D

other than that take some more tylenol when it starts to wear off.
If you have someone there. Ask them to rub it for you, or take a warm bath. It does help if it is not labor.

Thinking about starting a small service business, advice?

I am considering starting a technology service business, not a brick and mortar for now, just an install and repair service for home users and businesses. I'm not sure what the business laws are for my state (Iowa) and what the process would be for legitimizing my business. When must a company be incorporated and what are the benefits and drawbacks to this? Any advice that anyone can offer about what sort of expense I can expect to pay and what kind of a time frame I could be looking at before I can get underway. Thank you!Thinking about starting a small service business, advice?
Depending upon how easily accessible your courthouse is, I would start there for licensing purposes. Make sure you get the low-down on how your city/town does business. Second, I would hit up my favorite tax advisor for information about reporting taxes and you'll also find hints there about what all you can write off, and boy, can you write a lot of things off in a home business. Lastly, check into advertising, business cards and get the word of mouth out about your business. I could be wrong, but you're not baking anything or spraying chemicals or doing anything far-out there, so I think you'll be surprised that starting a business is easier to do than you think. It's keeping it running and successfully--that's the trick! I'll bet you can do it! Good Luck! Thinking about starting a small service business, advice?
Most businesses can be incorporated on line. Do a search for your states Secretary of State division of corporations.

If you are going to be doing business in other peoples homes there is always a liability and you should at least create an LLC to protect yourself.

As for time frame.. you can be up and running in a day or two

After they are cooked, the best thing to do is to poke a vent hole near the bottom and put them back into the oven (oven off) with the door ajar. This will help them dry out.

Does anyone have good advice for someone going away to college or about college in general?

I am going away to college soon and was wondering if anyone could tell me what college is like, give me advice even about random non-school things, and just anything about college really.

Please %26amp; Thank-you!Does anyone have good advice for someone going away to college or about college in general?
Well I just finished my first year in college and I would recommend for you to have get a planner/organizer. That is really important for upcoming tests and deadlines. Also, set time each week for each week to study for your classes. For every unit that a class has, you must study 2-3 hours a week. So if you are taking 15 units, set time to study about 20-30 hours a week. Next, talk to an advisor in the department that you are majoring at least once a semester to make sure that you are on track with taking the right classes and finishing your degree on time.

Always take notes and during your ';study time'; you should take a look at these notes to keep what you learned fresh in your mind. If you type faster than you write or have bad hand writing, then you should bring a laptop to help take notes-you will use them a lot and need to refer back alot. Usually professors/instructors will let you take notes on a laptop, but just ask in the beginning of class if it's ok, just in case.

Flash cards will be a very good friend during college for voabulary and for me- art history. What I did was printed the picture of the art piece in front and the details that I needed to know, on the back of a card.

Also, my school offers free tutoring, so don't be afraid to look for these helpful services offered at your school- you can talk to your advisor about that. There are also clubs that you can join that deal specifically with your choice of major. These are helpful in that you can get experience from these clubs and meet with others than have the same dreams as you. You can help each other out studying for classes and stuff. Lastly, partying is a no-no.Does anyone have good advice for someone going away to college or about college in general?
It depends on how far away from home you will be and what kind of school you are going to.

    1. Try not to go home a lot during first semester. You need to establish some roots at your new ';home';.

    2. Live on campus the first year. I still have friends I met on my dorm floor 15 years ago! They were some of my closest friends throughout school.

    3. You should become involved in campus life, through clubs or organizations.

    4. Go to parties, have fun, just don't overdo it. You'll know when you are overdoing it when you begin to miss classes.

    5. Be open minded. You are going to meet a lot of different people and see some crazy things. Take it all in stride.

College is what you make it. You can either be depressed sitting alone in your dorm room worried about people back home, or out there discovering a new life for yourself. Good luck!
College is fun, and everyone you meet is going to be feeling the exact same way as you. It's simular to high school except that you are independent and on your own, if you live in a dorm then their are staff to ';keep an eye out'; and a lots of colleges sometimes assign ';mentors'; to freshman. Congratulations and have a wonderful time during this very important stage in your life:)
Apply for as many grants and fellowships as you can.

When thesis year comes, do actually what your thesis advisors tell you do to. I almost didn't graduate college because I didn't listen to my advisors on my thesis and I tried to get too ambitious with my thesis project.

With college, you are on your own-you're responsible for what you do on college grounds. You're still a dependent adult Treat college like it's a job and not a pastime.

Take your work as seriously as you can. Enjoy the sites around town. Use the college library as often as yo can. Try to make as many friends and contacts as you can, and budget your time wisely.

Don't be afraid to object to any course that conflicts with your beliefs or makes you uncomfortable. Let an academic advisor know-they'll work with you.

I went to college but I lived at home-I didn't live on campus or in college apartments, so I can't tell you what dorms or like. But make sure you aren't rooming with some maniac.

Look at job postings posted through your school. There might be some jobs you qualify for. Be sure about what you want to major in. Don't wait till the last minute or after the fact you want to switch majors like I did. I went to school for animation but I didn't realize I wanted to go into comics and switch my major illustration/cartooning till after I graduated. Keep in touch with your school's career development center and alumni dept., if they have one, and make sure your payments to the school are on time. Focus on schooling and your work and don't spend too much time partying or socializing. If you have a job make sure it doesn't interfere with your school schedule. Don't be afraid to ask others to help you. Ask an advisor where to get good deals on school materials-they'll help you.

If you need anything else, feel free to e-mail me. :D
College classes are just like school. But the life is so much better. You have more freedoms and you have your own life I can not wait til college I am in eighth grade hope this helps and good luck.
There is nothing much difference b/w schooling college. It's just a situation change. When you get adjusted in your college you perhaps like it more than school.

Need legal advice about how to get my home. Willed?

My grandfather owns 3 houses and is giving one to each of his chrildren. His two sons live in 2 of them already but since my mother passed away when I was 8 he wants to give the 3rd one to me we he dies.

The question I have is that his 2 sons want the house and want to sell it when he dies so they can make money off it. My Grandfather really wants me to have it because he loved his daughter and feels that I should receive it, he also wants it to stay in the family for more generations.

My Grandfather is losing his memory and is getting kind of crazy. He wants to put my wife and I on as owners along with him and my grandmother. He says the the law in Colorado states that when there are four owners and 2 die the other 2 will own it.

I just want to know if this would be the best way to do this, are there any problems that will come up doing it this way? Would it be better to have the house willed to us? Should I try to convince him to will it to us?Need legal advice about how to get my home. Willed?
Just need to put on the deed as joint tenant

with right of survivership. As he should with the other properties concerning his sons.

Of course if he is not of sound mind right now it maybe to late. Prob would go to probate.

A shame if those were indeed his wishesNeed legal advice about how to get my home. Willed?
A WILL IS A GOOD IDEA.

YOU GET IT FREE AND CLEAR AFTER DEATH.LIVING TRUST YOU CAN'T DO MUCH WITH IT.

HAVE ATTORNEY DO A SIMPLE WILL LEAVING HOME TO YOU AND WIFE AFTER HIS DEATH.

    SOONER THE BETTER
    don't will it over

put in it a living trust

on a will you pay estate taxes as if a realestate transfer

where as in a living trust the house never transfers since you were always owners in a trust, so no estate taxes
Dragon fire has the right idea. Get your grandfather to an estate planner or attorney while he still have a semblance of memory and make a living revocable trust putting all the property in so everyone will know what is going to whom and under what circumstances it will be given. he can put his wife in the trust making you the executor,or whom ever he wants to be the executor.

This is a legal document where he can control the property until his death after which it will got to the new legal owner. The cost to accomplish this should be a little below $500.00.

The great part of this is that with a will you will have to go to probate, a living trust eliminate probate thus estate taxes and court cost and probate cost.

The possible problems doing it the way you want is that your uncles can say that your grandfather did not know what he was doing thus challenge the deed in court.

You need to do this as soon as possible.

I hope this has been of some use to you, good luck.

    ';FIGHT ON';
By far the best plan would be to either take sole ownership through the will, or get some sort of title now. A way of doing this is for you to purchase the place now, and have grandfather take back a mortgage for most of the purchase price. You make market value payments on the mortgage; grandfather may choose to gift some or all of those back to you (up to $12,000 in any year). You might take out a life insurance policy on him sufficient to pay off the mortgage; the proceeds would go to the estate, and (unless otherwise specified by will) be divided among the heirs -- so you would get some of it back. A competent estate planner may be able to come up with other angles on this.
This is NOT legal advice, but in our state, you can be put on the deed by quit claim. It is cheap, simple and very understandable by someone with the limitations you describe. Get sound legal advice from a real estate lawyer, not just any lawyer.

What advice should I give my mother for being guilty about reporting my sister .?

My stole and brother in law stole my parents identity to obtain a loan that theyre no longer paying. We just learned about it when collection agencies started sending notices and calls to our apartment.I need help in how to make her guilt feelings go away.My parents are elderly and I don't want them to feel guilty. Please I need help. What advice should I give my mother for being guilty about reporting my sister .?
I would sit my mom down and tell her all of the things that she did for and with me throughout my life - all the good memories I would tell her what a great parent she was. Make her feel good about herself. Then tell her that had she not reported your sister, perhaps you would feel that she was not the mother you thought she was, or maybe you would have been disappointed. Let her know that her decision made YOU happy because it reinforces what she taught you. You can't take away her guilt for turning her child in (even though she was right to do it), but you can make her feel good about what kind of a parent she was for you. What advice should I give my mother for being guilty about reporting my sister .?
Remind mom that if her daughter would steal from her she will steal from anyone. As her mother it is part of her job to teach her right from wrong. By turning them in your mom gave them the best opportunity to learn from their mistakes.

If your mom continues to feel overtly guilty then perhaps she would benefit from some professional counseling.

    Love in Him,

    tshandra
Your sister is guilty, not your parents. They aren't responsible for her crime. They aren't responsible for bearing a debt they didn't authorize. I can't help you much more than that.

there are many sites that offer free adverts for surrogate mothers/intended parents. as a first time surrogate mother, i prefered working with an agency. you do not need to sign up with an agency that is in the same state you reside in. here is a link which names agencies by state, http://www.surromomsonline.com/links/age鈥?/a> .

Need some advice about grants please?

I have been thinking about applying for a federal grant to help with finances, I have never done this before and just wondered if anyone knew of a scam-free website where I could get information from.Need some advice about grants please?
If you are in the USA, most of the grants come either from foundations that donate to charities or the government.

The government grants are dedicated to either non-profit organizations or companies involved in research and development either in the health care industry or in technology that has military implications.

If you have been watching late night TV where they talk about free money in grants, I suggest to you that there are non.

In some foreign countries, municipalities, counties or cities have funds to help companies startup businesses. You'll have to research that in your own country.

Hope this gives a little bit of perspective.Need some advice about grants please?
The government is NOT in the business of giving away free money for the sake of giving away money. There are no grants for paying bills, no grants for paying off credit cards, no grants for getting out of debt and no grants for simply fattening your wallet.

Grants are free, but it means OBLIGATION. You will be obligated to do as the grant sets out to do. Grants have objectives, and your purpose must fit the objective of the grant.

For one, you have to write the grant application and the grant application is not a simple document - you have to explain how your purpose for applying for the grant fits well with the objectives set out by the grant.

There is a stringent review process through a committee. You will compete with other applicants for the grant money, and this grant review committee will evaluate the merits of each proposal. Only those that they feel exemplifies the objective of the grant will be approved.

You can go to the Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) http://www.cfda.gov and Grants.gov http://www.grants.gov - these are two sites created by the federal government to provide transparency and information on grants. Browse through the listings and see if you can find any grant that would support your purposes.

Even if you buy books on ';how to get grants'; or list that supposedly has information on grants -- all of them are mere rehash of what CFDA has, albeit packaged differently.

Note though that these grants generally support non-profit organizations, intermediary lending institutions, and state and local governments. Most of the federal grants are given to specific target groups with specific requirements (e.g. minority business owners involved in transportation related contracts emanating from DOT - Grant#20.905 Disadvantaged Business Enterprises Short Term Lending Program. Individuals especially for personal purposes are not eligible for federal grants.

Grants are also often given to non profit groups or organizations involved in training or other similar activities (grant 59.043 Women's Business Ownership Assistance that are given to those who will create women's business center that will train women entrepreneurs

  • Need someones advice about a personal problem?

I seen to be having a problem producing any sperm after i am done jerking off and it seems as though each time i do it nothing comes out but i don't want to take it to the doctors unless it is something that could get worse over time. Also I seem to be getting more pubic hair but my balls aren't getting any bigger and my voice is not getting any deeper. NEED ADVICE OUR HELP!!!!!!!Need someones advice about a personal problem?
Well, if you masturbate too frequently, you won't produce much sperm (an example would be 5 times in 30 minutes or less). Don't worry about your testes getting bigger, the testes tend to grow slower than other primary male sex characteristics. Not everyone's voice gets deeper when they go through pubescent changes, mine never did... and therefore I can still sing very high notes. Also, your voice could be getting deeper without you noticing... it's not a completely overnight ordeal... changes that happen gradually are less likely to be noticeable to those who are in the vicinity of the changes as they occur gradually...

And finally, do not listen to those who would try to convince you that masturbation is a sin, or try to convince you that masturbation is in any way bad for you: there are verses in the bible that condone masturbation, but do encourage cleanliness afterward (taking a bath or shower), and masturbation has been proven to even be of benefit to males.

    Hope this helps.

GO TO THE DOCTOR! How else will you know if it will get worse over time. If you are freaked out go to WebMD and ask them, somewhere on the site you can ask questions - they don't diagnose but they may have advice to offer.

I need advice about starting my first ecommerce site to sell small product.?

i want to get the most for my money and get as much exposure on search engines as possible. should i hire someone to build my website? or use something popular like ebay stores or yahoo storefronts? what is my best option?I need advice about starting my first ecommerce site to sell small product.?
Ah, the decision greatly depends on the product, your target customers and your budget for marketing and design expense.

Here's a great place to ask questions directly related to eCommerce and online marketing. There is also a categorized page with common questions from previous merchants who wondered many of the same things you are asking about.

    http://www.ecommerceoptimization.com/faq鈥?/a>

Hiring someone depends on your budget and your site functionality needs. Do you need something simple or complex. If you need features that are not standard then you will most likely have to have someone build it or learn yourself. If you don't need anything too complex you could probably use an out-of-the-box solution.

I would stay away from just an eBay store unless you already do tons of business on eBay, but the good news is there are other choices.

There's Yahoo Stores, Prostores, Shopify, Wordpress, etc.

It would also depend on whether you would be selling tangible items or digital products.

Here's a good response to your question about hiring a designer ...

using ebay stores or yahoo storefronts would be a much cheaper option. With a website like ebay you wouldn't have to be paying a monthly fee and you only pay for products you have posted online and what you have sold. You would also be more likely to get more exposure without having to spend a lot of money in advertising.

With building your own website, your visitors would know where to find you and you would be able to start building a brand name or recognition. Although you would be paying money for web-hosting, you would have the advantage running your website with www.yourwebsitename.com. But you would then need to spend money in the building and promotion of your website and products.
I would create my own website rather than do the ebay stores thing. You can get a domain, shopping cart, and SSL certificate at http://www.doggydomains.com The shopping cart lets you design a site without having to know all the programming. Alternatively, you can pay to have it designed but that would cost more up front.

Need some advice about a nose ring and please be serious!?

I would love to get a nose ring but I'm scared to death!! Is it better to get a stud when you get it pierced instead of a screw? I just need a little advice from someone who's been there and done this. thanks

Need some advice about a nose ring and please be serious!?
My aunt had it done and she said it hurt. She ended up taking it out. She's totally scared of pain though. She has no tolerance at all for pain.

Then, my Bestfriend got it done, and she loves it. She said it didn't hurt one bit.

I guess it matters if you can take the pain of a little bit of a sting.

They both got studs when they got it done. That way it's easier to clean. Twisting the study instead of pulling the hoop.

Hope this helps! Good Luck! Need some advice about a nose ring and please be serious!?
I had a ring put in mine after they pierced it. To me, it heals better because it allows you to move the ring through the piercing as it heals, thus avoiding any scar tissue from building up around the inside. I have had mine for nearly ten years and have never had any problems from it. I cant stand the ';screw'; ends because they always tend to turn upside down and the end usually ends up sticking out of your nose like a little silver booger...

Get a stud for sure because they won't snag as easy.

The piercing takes no more than like a millisecond. The pain is no more than a second, just because it's going through cartilage, but it's totally tolerable.
dont be scared. i want one too, but my mom is still 'thinking' about it. just watch some people on you tube getting their nose pierced, thats what i did to get over my fear.
it doesnt hurt at all..u only feel it when the needle goes through your cartalidge. its beter to get a stud, screws are more complicated and studs are easier to put in and out.
my friend got one, said it didnt really hurt, but i think it might

I need advice as to what to do about Gyno lump?

I'm 21 years old and did steroids last year, now I have a small hard lump underneath my left nipple and though it's a relatively minor case, it drives me crazy. I'm in college and don't know whether to go to my parents for help or if there is some way I can finance an operation through a plastic surgeon to have it removed. It is driving me crazy. Advice?I need advice as to what to do about Gyno lump?
As the poster above said, it may not be due to steroids.

Did you develop this lump whilst 'on' or very shortly after? Did you get itchy %26amp; sore nips? If not then it's not likely gyno.

If it IS gyno, letro has some good effects but would ideally have been taken during your cycle to reduce estrogen related side effects. I've heard of people using it to reduce gyno lumps shortly after they have appeared but never after such a long time.

After a year of the lump being there you'll need a small operation to remove it.

Whichever it is, see your doctor.I need advice as to what to do about Gyno lump?
see a doctor.. it could be unrelated to steroids... could be a simple cyst that could go in 2-3 weeks with the right medication! simpler and easier

    Need some advice about coilovers?

I am confused as to what I have to purchase with coilovers...........................I saw some coilovers that are only the springs and now i have to buy struts to match? what are some good struts could handle a 1.5 inch drop...........the car is a ford escort lx.Need some advice about coilovers?
If you choose to drop the veh ride height you need to buy the struts %26amp; the springs for that ride height . if you try to use your original struts they will have to much travel %26amp; you will have handling %26amp; noise problems.... i see this regularly at the Ford dealer where i work people try to get out cheap %26amp; only buy the springs... no good. also you will need to get a camber kit to set the alignment after the replacement, this will help the handling but most of all prevent major bad tire wear. this is not a mod that you can do halfway or you will never have the veh perform well after. consult any tuner mag for companies who sell the whole package.save your money till you can afford to do it the RIGHT WAY....Need some advice about coilovers?
you have to be more specific. the old strut wil do the work if you are gonna drop it 1.5 inches.to my knowledge there arent too many performance parts for that car . you might have to work with what you got and get it custom made
