I need some advice from experienced parents about teaching art to a toddler?

My son is 2.5 and I want him to learn painting well because in the future I wish him become a good animator or an architech....any advice?what is the best way.....what should I do?I need some advice from experienced parents about teaching art to a toddler?
My son is 2 %26amp; we paint every 2nd day, All you need to do is give him a brush a pot of paint %26amp; show him how to dip it in then put it on paper.

WARNING there will be a mess %26amp; if he wants to paint him self let him you have to let it be fun or he wont enjoy it %26amp; then your dreams of him being a animator or architech are gone out the window.

GOOD LUCK, IT'S SO MUCH FUN!!!I need some advice from experienced parents about teaching art to a toddler?
At 2 and a half a scribble is art.

When he grows up you should let him decide what he wants 2 do with his life.
This is the wrong way to go about parenting. What if your son wants to be a lawyer...or a zoologist? You cannot choose a career path for a 2.5 year old, that is horrible and I HIGHLY suggest that you ease up on him or he will have animosity towards you as he gets older.
When life gives you lemons make lemonade.

Ponder this... again.
You will not be able to teach him painting other than how to hold a brush or sponge. The best way is to let him just enjoy being messy and creative. The key is to have fun together. Let him lead you. Do not expect any masterpieces. If you are lucky, he will love the time you spend painting together.
Look up if there is a Gymboree Play and Music in your area. This establishment has all sorts of classes for children 6 mos - 5 years old. They have art classes specifically that don't necessarily turn your child into an artistic prodigy but they will help his imagination, they're fun and they're a great jumping off point for a child that young.

The classes aren't too terribly expensive, I believe around $200 for 10 weeks of classes. The price may also vary by branch.
Your child is to young yet. He will be learning how to hold a brush etc and will make lots of scribbling before you are able to recognise anything he paints. This is a learning process for him and he may well not like to paint. You will just have to wait and see.
