k I normally don't give serious answers but I'm a senior in college, english major, so listen up. I'm not writing your paper for you but giving you pieces of great ideas that if you can fit them together you will tots get an a. let's go.

let's talk about their name, the lomans, right? so obviously, this can be phonetically linked to ';low man'; and you can spend some time on that but let's listen to it instead as an aberration of the word ';loaming.'; Now, there's all these food, fruit, vegetable, agriculture, farming references throughout, he needs to get some seeds, because nothing's planted, you can't just eat the fruit and throw the peel away, he's not a dime a dozen, he wants to get a farm in the country with some chickens or whatever.

Now, loaming is dirt, it's mud, and we could make the connection to him being worthless, like dirt, but it's fertile dirt. It's dirt that would be great to grow food in. Problem is, loaming is, since it's clay-like, often used to make bricks; to build buildings; to build cities; one brick out of many, each, individually worthless, dime a dozen?

Arite, now if you're looking at this and thinking it's ridiculous, let me just say that the POINT is to be ridiculous, be fresh, say something new and interesting; even if it can't be PROVEN proven, there's little pieces in there with which you can form your own interpretation--and the way in which you react to the text is just as important as the text itself. There's no text without a reader. I've given you a good start, and I hope you learn to love english.Need advice on what to write about for English Lit paper?
