Any advice for someone about to have breast reduction surgery?

I had one in Feb '06 (38J to 38C) and do not regret it one bit.

http://www.breasthealthonline.com is a great site to help you with support or other questions before/during/after your surgery.

Make sure you take off two weeks for work (more if it is an active lifting position). No heavy lifting, no laundry or vaccuuming, get some help for the first two weeks.

That site has many other ideas and suggestions but most of all realize you are going to have major surgery times two (for each boob) and you need to let your body heal. If you feel tired, rest!Any advice for someone about to have breast reduction surgery?
Be very sure this is what you really want to do. I work in a health food store. One day a lady was in looking for something to rub on or take to increase her bust size. As we visited I learned that she'd had a breast reduction surgery and was very unhappy. She said as she walked away, ';I want my boobs back';.Any advice for someone about to have breast reduction surgery?
Yes, congratulation, you will look great and your back will feel great.I wish I were so lucky...I'd go down to a B cup no larger.......
i had one before and i was so glad i did it. bring several different types of bras with u because u will need to wear one home. u just won't be able to tell which one will fit u best until u try it on with your new breast size. u will also have two drainers on your sides of your breasts and it will hurt like hell when they take it out. i wasn't in much pain, i never used the percocets that they gave me. i just felt very tight. good luck and u will be happy.
You will feel so much better after the pain is over....I had one June 2006 and my shoulder grooves went away and so did the back pain and all that other discomfort your dr. will tell you what size bras to bring and everything else .......just be sure to ask questions and let him or her know what size you want to be .....make sure you are comfortable with the method they are using ....and everything will be fine .....good luck ..... :)
