yes there is a paint made especially for concrete you can get it a Lowe's in the paint dept. it turned out beautifullyI'm thinking about painting the floor of my garage to make it look better and cleaner. Any advice?
first clean out the whole garage and then go to home depot or other home products store and ask for the right kind of paint. The prep instructions will be on the box.
Clean, clean, clean.
Keep in mind that paint will NOT adhere to a dirty surface. If you don't have a power washer borrow or rent one. Pre treat all grease and oil stains before power washing.
When the floor is thoroughly clean let it dry for several days before painting.
Would suggest that you use a commercial grade or epoxy paint that is intended for concrete. There are several quality brands available. The prep work for painting concrete floors is usually a killer so don't cheap out - use only the best quality.
does your dry have a dry vent.if don't try putting one in .that my be your problem
