Advice about Hair relaxing with chemicals?

Ok so I'm extremely confused:

my brother told me that he has a friend who has been relaxing her hair every year since she was about 11. he says u can do it as much as you want.

On another hand, i heard that you can not relax previously relaxed hair, that it would fall off. %26amp; that after 6 months the effect goes away, yet people get their roots re-touched, I have caucasion hair.Advice about Hair relaxing with chemicals?
You can't relax previously relaxed hair because it causes severe breakage and damage (only the roots that grow every 3 months). The effect doesn't go away .The roots must be retouched just like colored hair because the hair that grows from your roots will be wavy/curly while the relaxed hair will be straight.(only Brazilian keratin treatment can be done on all the hair and the effects of it go away after 6months or so.Thought I can't guarantee you about how healthy or dangerous it is.Make a research about it.)Advice about Hair relaxing with chemicals?
You can go over Caucasian hair every three or four months without damaging it too much. But if you blow dry your hair, straighten it, really anything with heat, and especially if you color it, that really isn't a good idea. It can cause breakage. If you had African American hair the cream that is used to relax cannot overlap previously relaxed hair. But if you have caucasion hair, you straighten by putting a perm type of solution in your hair and just combing it straight. That is much gentler and can be done over previously relaxed hair. But don't do it more often than ever 3-4 months.
I guess that some people really like relaxing their hair, however, it does use a lot of chemicals that could possibly damage your hair. I live in the Phil. and there is this salon. I'm almost sure that there is one there too cuz everyone knows Kerastase salon right? So yeah. You should go to that salon. There is a hair treatment that will relax your hair, using no chemicals.
